Running Games

Running games are the ones where the character never stops: endless runners that speed up until you slip, obstacle courses timed to the second, chase scenes with something gaining on you, and the sprint-and-dodge races the feed files alongside them. The tag is the publishers' own, so a few racers and sports games keep company here with the runners proper. Most are played with one hand — tap to jump, swipe to switch lanes — which is why so many of them suit a phone as well as a laptop. Nothing to install, nothing to sign in to.
