Army games online put you in uniform: you carry out missions as a soldier, run an army base or drive military vehicles. Some are shooters played in first person or from the side, some are command games where you train and send out troops, and some are driving jobs for army trucks and buses. First-person soldier missions
- Warfare Area 3 is a 3D first-person shooter where you explore the enemy base and take down all the guards. Pick up first aid kits and earn money to upgrade your armor and guns.
- Warfare Area 2, Assault Zone and Battle Area are the same kind of mission: eliminate the enemies in an area, invade captured territory or reconquer a mine on Mars. All four share one layout. Arrow keys or W A S D move you and the mouse turns, aims and shoots, and on a phone you get an on-screen joystick, a fire button and a drag on the right side to aim.
- Frontline Army Commando War puts you in the last commando squad on the final battleground. W A S D moves, the mouse shoots, Space jumps and Shift runs.
- Army Frontline Mission lists multiple missions and weapons. Right click aims, left click shoots, Left Shift runs and Left Ctrl crouches.
- Urban Military Strike is a tactical shooter for close-quarters fights across multi-level urban battlefields, with realistic weapon ballistics and shifting objectives. Ctrl crouches, X goes prone and the scroll wheel switches to a third-person view.
- Special Forces X sends elite special forces to destroy the hideouts of dangerous criminals. Move with W A S D or the arrows, and shoot with Space or F.

In Warfare Area 2 and 3, L locks the pointer to the game and R reloads. If the cursor gets stuck, keyboard controls for games explains pointer lock.
Squad shooters from the side
- Battalion Commander sends you through enemy territory armed to the teeth, and its description says you need the help of fellow soldiers trapped by the foe, a ton of upgrades and mighty skills. The squad follows your mouse, and a click or tap on the skill button activates a skill.
- Battalion Commander 2 brings back the same controls with guns, rockets and grenades to secure the territory in the north.
- Soldiers Fury is a wartime action game with missions: collect weapons, power-ups and coins, shoot waves of enemy soldiers and use your surroundings to blow them up. Coins buy more power and ammunition.
- Platformer War Day is a 2D action platformer with 27 stages. The left and right arrows move, Ctrl shoots, Shift jumps and Enter starts.

Army bases and command
- My Army Base is a military tycoon that combines base management, soldier training and capturing territory. You upgrade your troops, expand your camp and fight enemy forces in strategic battles.
- Wars Island Management has you forge an army from scratch. Build and train troops, fortify your defenses, manage resources and spend funds on new forces and technologies before you launch attacks on rival armies.
- Stickman Legion leads a growing army of stickmen through waves of enemies. You pick upgrades, evolve your gun into a minigun, railgun or rocket launcher and call in drones, turrets and airstrikes. It has 10 stages on 2 islands, with bosses such as tanks and fortresses.
- Combat Koloboks makes you commander of an elite unit. Hire heroes or upgrade them, go on missions or into random combat, and earn money for your squad.
- Stickman Army : Resistance gives you a team of two trained soldiers and many weapons to defend your position. Follow the in-game tutorial, and use the mouse or touch.

Training and reaction
- Private War Training is described only as shooter training, and it plays with W A S D and the mouse.
- Military Defense tests your reactions with a cannon. Tap the right side of the screen to shoot the right line and the left side for the left line, or use the arrow keys. Shoot a civilian and the game ends, and so does letting an enemy into the base.
- Helifight is a two-player duel of tiny pixel helicopters. Collect rocket symbols in the air, and the first to land five hits wins.
Habits for army games
- Check the controls before the first mission. Army Frontline Mission adds crouch on Left Ctrl, and Urban Military Strike adds prone on X.
- Spend on upgrades. Warfare Area 3 lets you earn money for armor and guns, and Soldiers Fury turns coins into power and ammunition.
- Look before you fire. Military Defense ends the run if you shoot a civilian.
- Watch the clock in vehicle jobs. Army Truck Simulator 2024 says to reach the camp on time, and Army Bus Driving 2024 sets tight schedules.
