Garden Games Online: Planting, Lawns and Garden Puzzles
Updated
Garden games online come in four kinds: games where you plant and grow, games where you keep a lawn or a yard tidy, puzzles built from vegetables and seeds, and arcade games set in a garden. Most play with a mouse click or a tap. Below is each kind, with games from the catalog; farms with tractors, animals and big harvests are in the farm games guide.
| Kind | What you do | Start with |
|---|---|---|
| Plant and grow | Plant flowers or vegetables and tend them | Peaceful Gardening |
| Lawn and yard work | Mow grass or blow leaves into piles | Leaf Blower Yards |
| Garden puzzles | Match vegetables or merge seeds into fruit | Garden Match Kids |
| Garden settings | Defend or cross a garden in an arcade game | The Bunny vs The Gardener |
Plant, tend and grow
These are the games closest to gardening itself. If you came for garden design, Peaceful Gardening and Idle Garden both describe creating your own garden, and Happy Garden carries the decorate and design tags.
- Peaceful Gardening is a relaxing game where you plant flowers and watch nature come alive. You can add butterflies and toggle rain to build a peaceful digital garden, and you play with the mouse or a tap.
- Idle Garden is an idle game about gathering plants and creating your own garden. You explore, collect and grow plants to boost your income and expand the garden. How idle games work is explained in idle and clicker games.
- Happy Garden splits the garden into five sections: a Vegetable Garden, a Flower Shop, a Greenhouse, an Orchard and a Garden Shed. You plant your favorite crops and trade fresh goods and garden tools with customers in the marketplace.
- Sunfield Vegetable Farm is a cozy 3D farming game built around vegetables. You plant carrots, tomatoes and cabbages, water them and watch them grow, then stock the market carts and serve customers at the checkout. Money buys new land with more beds, fields and carts, and you can hire a cashier and farm workers. You move with WASD or the arrow keys, and progress saves automatically.

NEWLawn and yard work
Mowing and leaf games are about keeping the grass and the yard tidy, one pass at a time.
- Grass Cutting Mowing Game is a lawn-mowing simulator. You drive a mower around the environment, mow the grass carefully and complete your tasks to keep different areas clean.
- Leaf Blower Yards gives you a ride-on leaf blower and yards buried in autumn leaves. The air stream gathers the leaves into a pile, you drive the pile into the bag zone, and every 50 leaves fill a bag and pay coins. When a yard is clear, the lawn shows a picture. You steer with the mouse, by touch, or with the arrow keys or WASD, and you buy upgrades from the cards at the bottom.
- Cut the Grass Cutting Grass offers different mowers and crops to try, and every level shows a different field shape. You play with a mouse click or a tap.
- Grass Ranch asks you to keep mowing the lawn and to feed some cute animals along the way. It plays with a mouse click or a tap.
- Scribble Grass Cutter makes your drawing the tool. You draw simple lines that become mower blades, then race your neighbors to cut the grass. Beat your opponent and you earn pet feed. You slide to draw.

Garden puzzles
- Garden Match Kids is a vegetable-matching game. You match tiles of the same type of veggies to clear each level, and there are 10 levels.
- PairScape is a tile-matching game set among fresh vegetables and blooming flowers. You match identical tiles to clear the board, across more than 100 levels.

Puzzles where pipes carry water to the flowers are in the flower games guide.
Gardens in arcade games
In these three the garden is the arena.
- Garden War is a combat game set in a colorful garden. You dodge, counterattack and use skills against mischievous insects, and you move with WASD or the arrow keys.
- The Bunny vs The Gardener has a bunny defend his garden from a furious gardener boss. You steer with the mouse, hold the left button to fire, dodge attacks and blast through waves of seeds and obstacles. Boss battles come at 30 and 60 points. You start with 3 lives and gain one for each new level.
- Piggy vs Watermelon sends a pig across a nine-parcel garden. You move with the mouse and fire upward to pop incoming watermelons before they crash into you.
Tips for garden games
- Check what one round asks for. In Leaf Blower Yards you push a pile to the bag zone, and in Scribble Grass Cutter the line you draw becomes the blade.
- Spend on the upgrade that speeds the job. Leaf Blower Yards sells upgrades as cards at the bottom of the screen, and Idle Garden is built around growing plants to boost your income.
- Look ahead to the next crop. Sunfield Vegetable Farm adds corn, pumpkin, eggplant, potato, onion, pepper and watermelon as you play.
- In the shooters, spend lives carefully. The Bunny vs The Gardener gives you 3 lives and one more for each new level.
